Company Policies Dessert.Net Cafe aims to offer you one of the most delicious shopping experiences you've ever had. We genuinely value our customers and we are committed to serving you quality products and exceptional customer service.OUR SHIPPING POLICY Because we want you to fully enjoy our desserts, we must ship either Priority Mail (2-3days) or Next Day Air, for them to arrive to you full flavored and fresh. Due to the perishable nature of our products, we do not allow our packages to be in transit over Sundays and Holidays. Orders are shipped across the country on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. West Coast customers (in PST zone) can ship on Thursdays. We do not ship cakes, pies, cupcakes and frostings on THURSDAY, FRIDAY or SATURDAY via Priority Mail. An Overnight AIR/Express Mail order may be processed during our normal turnaround time of 2-3 days however, it will only "travel" 1-day, by AIR. SHIPPING SCHEDULE: Cakes, Pies, Cupcakes, Frosting
All other desserts are more durable and able withstand weekend/holiday travel and ships everyday of the week. If your order is a combination of delicate items and durable items, your order will ship according to the delicate items schedule above. ALL ITEMS including Cakes, Pies, Cupcakes and Frosting traveling Next Day Air Express, ship Monday through Friday considering they will arrive the next day. HOLIDAY SEASON SHIPPING SCHEDULE - 2011 Please order as much in advance as you can. You can always make notes to us on the check out invoice. By simply stating, "this is a gift item that I'd like to arrive in time for Thanksgiving dinner", tells us that you're ordering in advance. Therefore, we will not ship early and order is GUARANTEED to arrive on time. Thanksgiving Holiday - November 24, 2011: No Priority Mail shipping on Mon, Tues, Wed ( Nov. 21,22,23) will be guaranteed. Last guaranteed shipping day is Saturday, November 19th. Christmas Holiday - December 25, 2011: Luckily Christmas falls on a Sunday this year. Orders will be shipped via Priority Mail though Wednesday, and Overnight AIR on Thursday. New Year's Eve falls on a Saturday this year. If the package looks like it may have incurred damage during shipping, and the postal carrier is still there, notify them on the spot. If possible, take a picture of the damaged box/item and email the photo to CustomerService. We will immediately place the Damaged Item Claim with the Post Office or UPS for you.
